The research for our project does not only take place underground. Archive research, i.e. the viewing and evaluation of the sources, is also an important part. The medieval documents and letters, from which we hope to gain new details on the history of the origins of the Old Bicycle Rooms and the mining areas, are, however, sometimes in a good, sometimes unfortunately also in a very bad condition.
